Tahuichi Sport Activities
National Activities
The Tahuichi Academy has regular daily course in two shifts; during the mornings and during the afternoons, as well as special courses during summer and winter school vacations. Tahuichi hosts 3.000 children between the ages of 3 through 19 years old, of which 2.500 receive full scholarship (free of cost) and the rest pay only $us 10.- per month. Its categories are:

National and Local Tournaments and Events
• City League Tournament participation of 17 teams from the Tahuichi Academy in its categories U-10 to U-19 in the local Asociacion Cruceña de Futbol Tournament.
• Inter-Category Tournaments are promoted through out the whole year ,stimulating the children to improve their potential in theses tournaments which draw great parental participation as well.
• National Tournaments are attended in the categories U-12 through U-19
• National Tours are organized taking Tahuichi Select Teams through out Bolivia promoting Sport Yes – Drugs NO.

Latin American Society on Youth Sport Medicine
The Latin American Society on Youth Sport Medicine presided by Dr. Jorge Flores A., organized the First World Medical Seminar of Youth Sport in 1996 with the participation of doctors of each of the participating teams in the Mundialito Tahuichi “Paz y Unidad”. Different aspects regarding the “young athlete” were analyzed during this seminar such as: prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, arterial tension and auto esteem involving the young athlete.
